Jurusan Ilmu Komputer FMIPA Universitas Riau melaksanakan Pengenalan Kehidupan Kampus bagi Mahasiswa Baru (PKKMB) pada Jumat, 31 Juli 2026, mulai pukul 08.00 WIB. Dalam kegiatan tersebut, mahasiswa baru memperoleh arahan dan informasi akademik dari Ketua Jurusan Ilmu Komputer, Tisha Melia, B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D.; Sekretaris Jurusan, Fatayat, M.Kom.; Koordinator Program Studi, Aidil Fitriansyah, MIT.; serta Kepala Laboratorium Ilmu Komputer, Roni Salambue, M.Kom. Mahasiswa juga diperkenalkan kepada para dosen dan lingkungan akademik Jurusan Ilmu Komputer sebagai bekal untuk memulai kehidupan perkuliahan.
Suasana kegiatan berlangsung hangat dan penuh antusiasme, terutama saat sesi kuis berhadiah yang diikuti dengan semangat oleh mahasiswa baru. Jurusan Ilmu Komputer FMIPA UNRI menaungi dua program studi, yaitu S1 Sistem Informasi dan D3 Manajemen Informatika yang membekali mahasiswa dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan di bidang teknologi informasi. Selamat datang kepada seluruh mahasiswa baru Jurusan Ilmu Komputer FMIPA UNRI. Selamat belajar, berkembang dan menjadi bagian dari keluarga besar Ilmu Komputer Universitas Riau.

Computer Science Department PKKMB Welcomes New Students in 2026
The Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Riau, held its Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) on Friday, July 31, 2026, starting at 8:00 a.m. During the event, new students received academic guidance and important information from the Head of the Department of Computer Science, Tisha Melia, B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D.; the Department Secretary, Fatayat, M.Kom.; the Coordinator of the Informatics Management Study Program, Aidil Fitriansyah, MIT.; and the Head of the Computer Science Laboratory, Roni Salambue, M.Kom. The students were also introduced to the lecturers and the department’s academic environment as part of their preparation for university life.
The event took place in a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere, particularly during the prize quiz session, which encouraged active participation from the new students. The Department of Computer Science at FMIPA UNRI offers two study programs: the Bachelor’s Program in Information Systems and the Diploma III Program in Informatics Management. Both programs equip students with knowledge and practical skills in information technology. Welcome to all new students of the Department of Computer Science, FMIPA Universitas Riau. May this be the beginning of a meaningful journey of learning, personal growth, and achievement as part of the Computer Science community at Universitas Riau.
